Children's Wellbeing Service - Self-Referral
For children (between the ages of 5 - 19 at school age) in Hertfordshire (via HCT)

The service is available by self-referring via the online referral form.

The Children's Wellbeing Practitioners (CWP) Service offers therapies and interventions for children with low mood, anxiety or behavioural difficulties. More information about the programmes they offer can be found on their website. The service is appropriate for children who require a low level of intervention and not for children who are currently self-harming or have active suicidal thoughts.

They also run workshops on topics such as exam stress, sleeping difficulties, self-esteem and emotional wellbeing. These can booked on their Eventbrite page.

If more urgent support is needed or in the case of a mental health emergency (e.g. self-harm or suicidal thoughts), you are advised to contact Single Point of Access (SPA) on 0800 6444 101 (alternatively NHS 111 or 999).
